23 Days Until Departure

Well, David and I have less than a month left until we leave. We have acquired almost all the stuff we need for the trip including new components and parts for the bikes, ultra light and compact hammocks for camping wild, and contacts in Munich, Milan, Barcelona, and Malaga. Big ups to Sprockets Bike Shop for hooking us up with some of our gear. I've been training a little bit in between working and surfing...About 120 miles a week. Along the way we will be representing and spreading the word for our local non profit organization, PeacePassers: an organization that collects and distributes used soccer/surf gear around the globe in order to promote positive social change in underdeveloped or underprivileged communities, towns, and neighborhoods. Armed with stickers, patches, and t-shirts, we plan to spread the good vibes and good word about PeacePassers throughout Europe in hopes of creating new contacts and finding new children to help. We will post some pictures of the bikes to show you all how we are traveling in a few days...Until then
